Titanic (1997)

186 MIN

An epic, action-packed romance set against the ill-fated maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic. Rose is a 17-year-old, upper-class American suffocating under the rigid confines and expectations of Edwardian society. And Jack Dawson is a free-spirited young steerage passenger. The pride and joy of the White Star Line and, at the time, the largest moving object ever built, the Titanic was the most luxurious liner of her era – the “ship of dreams” – which ultimately carried over 1500 people to their death in the ice cold waters of the North Atlantic in the early hours of April 15, 1912. The journey begins in the present, at the site of the ship’s watery grave, two-and-a-half miles under the ocean’s surface. An ambitious fortune hunter is determined to plumb the treasures of this once-stately ship, only to bring to the surface a story left untold.
