Rosemary’s Baby (1968)

131 MIN

She’s a young New York City homemaker who, with her actor husband Guy, finds the perfect apartment in an old. It comes with eccentric neighbours, Minnie and Roman Castevet, but otherwise seems perfect. Only gradually does this impression change, particularly after Rosemary becomes pregnant and Guy’s career starts to take off. Rosemary starts to worry about the baby, particularly when Guy and the Castevets seem to be isolating her from her old friends. On top of this, strange coincidences start to mount: a houseguest of the Castevets falls to her death from their apartment, Rosemary’s friend “Hutch” Hutchins falls into a coma the morning he was to meet Rosemary with important news, a persistent pain in Rosemary’s womb disappears only when she decides to go to a different doctor from the one the Castevets had sent her to.
